Pandemic Postpones Baw Baw Classic until November…

Due to the constantly changing situation in Victoria as a result of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the 2021 Baw Baw Classic has been postponed.

The Warragul Cycling Club looks forward to celebrating the event’s 20th anniversary now in November 2021, date TBC.

“The club made the difficult decision to cancel our plans for the 2020 Baw Baw Classic and we were especially disappointed because that would have been the race’s 20th edition,” said Warragul Cycling Club President and Race Director Karin Jones.

“We have made the decision to postpone our March 2021 date because of the uncertainty in Victoria and the State boarders along with the event’s reliance on sponsorship.”

The event will have a new date in November 2021 to be announced at a later time.

We remain committed to hosting the 20th Anniversary edition and feel November will give us a greater opportunity to make the course changes we have planned and secure our funding.
